WordPress Speed Optimization

Slow loading websites suck!

How long do you wait around for a webpage to load before your brain says, “I’m outta here!”? If your website is running on WordPress and your site takes longer than 3 seconds to load, you need my WordPress site optimization help. I’m here to provide it.

Slow loading pages, especially home pages and landing pages, must be optimized to provide the conversions that you are looking for. Why spend the time and money to create those great pages, only to have people click away before they even see them?

I’m so confident that I can help you, I will provide you with a free site speed evaluation. Click below to submit your site information and I’ll get a report back to you.

WordPress Optimization will speed up your slow loading website.

Nobody likes a slow loading website. Especially your new visitors. If your website takes longer than a few seconds to load, people may not stay on your site long enough to view your message.

How to know – Test it!

To test your site loading time, head over to https://gtmetrix.com and type in the URL of the page you want to test. This might be your homepage or a key landing page. Maybe you sell products and your site is slow to bring up the product images.

I’ll Optimize Your WordPress Website

I can improve your sites load times by using WordPress optimization best practices and plugins. When you purchase my WordPress site optimization, here’s what you get:

  • A full backup of your site prior to beginning.
  • Snapshot your site on GTmetrix and webpagetest.org to gather baseline data.
  • Install a caching plugin, editing the .htaccess file or making changes with your hosting provider.
  • Perform an audit of your site, including:
    • Checking all of your plugins for updates and to ensure you are only loading the plugins you need.
    • Update plugins, themes and WP core as needed.
    • Validate links are working properly and correct where needed.
    • Snapshot your site speed test to validate better load times.
  • Provide a report with the findings along with the begin and end state load times.
  • I will also provide you with a list of potential security and search related items that you need to be aware of and other items as I find them, such as CDN.

While there are no guarantees that your site will load in “X” seconds, I find that even when on shared hosting, most sites can get close to sub-three-second load times.

NOTE: I don’t chase “letter grades” in performance testing and optimizations, and neither should you. What is required is the fastest loading website possible. Load speed is measured in seconds, not letters.
